3 Seeds Homestead
Our dreams and visions started with a seed. Alike a seed, the vision was watered, nurtured and grew into 3 seeds. Overlooking the rangers of the native bush land, situated in the quaint and cosy town of Heathcote on Dja Dja Wurrung land, you will find us, 3Seeds Homestead.
We, the co-creators behind 3Seeds Homestead are a dynamic family trio. We have each lived on land for most of our lives and have always loved pouring our energy into mother Earth and giving back to her, in a symbiotic relationship of give and take. As the years have progressed, our knowledge and passions have deepened. Each of us, gaining different backgrounds of experience that come together to bring our visions alive and into fruition. Our focus and passions are on permaculture and land regeneration, we believe these philosophies are the most beneficial for land, Earth and human care.
3Seeds Homestead covers 17 acres of land and is made up of different elements, that also make this homestead function as a healing and education haven. These being:
- Commercial sized greenhouse, outdoor market garden and orchard, which allows us to grow nutritious, chemical free foods for ourselves and our community
- A mushroom hut with a variety of beneficial and medicinal mushrooms growing
- Space to provide and host workshops, which people can learn about different topics
- Horse assisted therapy and other ranges of healing modalities
Intentions
- Create an abundant environment where nature and people can flourish in service to the Earth
- Provide nourishing produce for our family, friends and community
- To learn and grow together through educating and inspiring others
- Provide opportunities for community involvement
About The co-creators
Elora
After volunteering in Central America at different regenerative farms and gaining a diverse range of knowledge and skills in holistic living, arts of life and conscious communities, Elora knew that her reverence for the land and creating was the path to trust and follow. This seemed obvious, as these were always big aspects in her life and how she grew up.
Returning home, she continued in the creative flow of making wearable art with the intention to adorn those called to her jewellery while being able to bring the loving and balancing energies from the healing crystals to them. She also worked on market gardens and developed more skills making wholesome food creations. Having gained much experience in the food industry and being someone who finds great enjoyment in nourishing the bodies, minds and souls of her beloved friends and family with nutritious and delicious food, offering these to a wider community was a natural progression. Nurturing the land, growing and harvesting fresh organic produce from the garden and turning that into something delightful to share with others to experience is one of her greatest enjoyments.
Liana
Liana has been living on acreage majority of her life. As time has progressed, so has her passion, care, connection and understanding within the garden, environment, community, plants, growing her own food and nature. Living closer with nature, has allowed her to get a deeper understanding of herself, as she feels nature is the greatest teacher. She would love to pass this gift and experience onto others. This has lead her into many aspects and topics of holistic health and living and feels connected to herbology and creating her own salves, hair treatments, tinctures and other products. Apart from the love of her garden, she is also a devoted chicken mother. She has extensive knowledge and experience in keeping and raising poultry.
She is a qualified teacher which has given her a great depth of experience and understanding of community and relationships. She will be able to, now, teach others all that she has learnt and continues to learn in creating an abundant and flourishing environment for all.
Heather
Heather is a qualified counsellor, creative art therapist, hypnotherapist, psychotherapist, professional mental health supervisor and equine assisted growth & learning trained mental health specialist. She is committed to a standard of professional excellence, in which her goal is to empower individuals who are struggling with emotional and mental states and will encourage you to build a bridge to your own self liberty.
Having the horses within the homestead, means you can access the healing and wisdom they have to pass onto you at any time. They are also utilised in land regeneration by ensuring they have regular paddock rotation, whilst their manure continues to add extra nutrients and microbes to the soil and the land does not get over worked. They also assist in the breaking down of twigs etc.. that all get degraded over time, which will help create more soil.
